Courts Service (No. 2) Bill, 1997: Order for Second Stage.

Bill entitled an Act to establish a service to manage the courts and provide services to and for the judges, and to provide other services relating to courts administration, to transfer certain property to the service, to make provision for the staffing of the service, and to provide for related matters.

Mr. T. Fitzgerald: I move: “That Second Stage be taken at 3.15 p.m. today.” I apologise to the House but I have received word that the Minister will be delayed for approximately ten minutes. Therefore, I suggest the House adjourn until 3.15 p.m. at which time Second Stage will be taken.

Mr. Cosgrave: In the interests of showing that Members on this side of the House can be reasonable, we will agree to the arrangements. I understand that the Minister will be here shortly.
