An Cathaoirleach: Dáil Éireann has passed the following Order:—

That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 134 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, a Select Committee be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee of Seanad [246] Éireann to constitute the Standing Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills;

That the Chairman of the Joint Committee shall have only one vote; and

That all questions in the Joint Committee shall be determined by a majority of votes of the members present and voting and, in the event of there being an equality of votes, the question shall be decided in the negative.
