An Cathaoirleach: I have notice from Senator Cotter that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to increase substantially the rate support grant notified to Castleblaney Urban District Council for 1996.

I have also received notice from Senator Neville on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to allow trade union dues as a tax expense similar to allowances given for employers for contributions to their professional bodies.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
