Seanad Éireann - Volume 116 - 25 June, 1987 Order of Business. Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan: It is intended to take Items Nos. 1, 2 and 3 today. Mr. Norris Mr. Norris Mr. Norris: A Chathaoirligh, I would like guidance from yourself and the Leader of the House as to whether it is possible on the Order of Business to raise the matter of the Irish diplomatic representation at the reception for Mr. Waldheim in the Vatican which I believe is a matter of considerable concern to many citizens. I am not sure, however, whether there is a possibility of raising this matter and having it discussed today in the House. Mr. Manning Mr. Manning Mr. Manning: Could the Leader of the House give some indication of whether he intends to run right through the day or whether there will be a break for lunch? Mr. Ferris Mr. Ferris 1339 [1339] Mr. Ferris: Could I ask if it is intended to sit tomorrow? Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan: On the point raised by Senator Norris if he wants to make a request under Standing Order 29, it may be possible that he could raise that question, but it is a matter for the Chair and not for the House. On the question of whether we will sit through the day, we will sit right through today. Mr. Manning Mr. Manning Mr. Manning: Until what time? Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan: If the Finance Bill is not finished we will continue on today and finish whenever the Finance Bill finishes. Mr. Manning Mr. Manning Mr. Manning: Until the end of Second Stage? Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan: Yes. Mr. Ferris Mr. Ferris Mr. Ferris: What about tomorrow? Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan Mr. Lanigan: We are not sitting tomorrow. Order of Business agreed to. Seanad Éireann 116 Order of Business. General Debate 19870625
