Seanad Éireann - Volume 105 - 13 September, 1984 Order of Business. Professor Dooge Professor Dooge Professor Dooge: It is proposed to take Nos. 1, 2 and 3 and to suspend the sitting from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. In regard to the time we are finishing, it is customary when we sit for a second day to adjourn at 5 p.m. I would suggest that, since we have this debate on the Criminal Justice Bill which is unlikely to finish today, we should consider being a little flexible on that. For example, I would suggest that whoever is in possession at 5 o'clock would certainly be allowed to finish their speech, provided they do not go beyond 7 o'clock. I would suggest a degree of flexibility, and there could be consultations throughout the day in regard to the exact time of adjournment. Mr. Lynch Mr. Lynch Mr. Lynch: I believe Seanad Éireann should call on the ESB workers to call off their strike and not hold the country to ransom. An Cathaoirleach An Cathaoirleach An Cathaoirleach: That is not in order, but the Senator has said it. Professor Dooge Professor Dooge Professor Dooge: We all agree. Order of Business agreed to.
