Seanad Éireann - Volume 81 - 02 July, 1975

Order of Business.

Mr. M.J. O'Higgins: It is proposed to take No. 1. I understand that it is agreed that the Minister should get in to conclude at 6.30 p.m. As Senators know, he is very much tied up in the Dáil at the moment and he will be available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. I do not know if there is danger that there might be some hiatus on that account, if Senators' contributions had finished before the Minister is available. That is a possibility. It may be an unreal one, but should it arise we will endeavour— we cannot give a commitment on this yet—to arrange that the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Bill might start if Senators opposite are agreeable.

Mr. Lenihan: That is acceptable as far as we are concerned.
