Order of Business.

Tomás Ó Maoláin: No. 1 on the Order Paper.

Professor Quinlan: Is there any possibility of finishing the motion on education? We have the Minister——

Professor Hayes: We have not got the Minister: that is the point.

Professor Quinlan: It is a most unsatisfactory situation to leave education hanging in mid-air.

Tomás Ó Maoláin: There is no possibility of finishing it this evening, anyhow.

Professor Quinlan: Is there any possibility of finishing it this session?

Tomás Ó Maoláin: One motion asks that the Minister will make a statement; he made one. Another motion asks that more money be spent on secondary education; it is being spent. What more does the Senator want?

Professor Quinlan: I have the right to reply and to say that the consultation the Minister alleges took place with the University did not take place.

Tomás Ó Maoláin: Your election address is printed now.
