Leave given to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to amend and extend the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Acts, 1936 and 1941—(Senator Quirke).

Mr. Quirke: I understand that it has been more or less agreed that the Second and remaining Stages will be taken on Wednesday the 30th instant.

Professor Hayes: I understood that the arrangement was that the Second Stage would be taken on January 30th. We are agreeing wholeheartedly to that.

Mr. Quirke: I thought that when it was agreed to take the Second Stage on January 30th, the remaining Stages might also be taken on that day, seeing that it is a more or less non-contentious measure. However, in case anybody should get a brainwave after the Second Reading, I would merely ask that the Second Stage be taken on January 30th.

Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, January 30th.
