Cathaoirleach: The Clerk has rereceived the following Minute from the Secretary to the President:—

“TITLE OF BILL: FLAX ACT, 1936 (SUSPENSION) BILL, 1947 (No. 3 of 1947).

Maidir leis an rún do rith Seanad Eireann do bhun fo-ailt 2 d'Alt 2 d'Airteagal 25 den Bhunreacht i dtaobh an Bhille sin thuas, tá orm a chur in iúl duit go ndearna an tUachtarán an Bille do shíniú go cuibhe ar an dáta a luaitear anso thíos.

With reference to the resolution passed by Seanad Eireann pursuant to sub-section (2) of Section 2, of Article 25 of the Constitution with regard to the above Bill, I have to inform you that the Bill was duly signed by the President on the date noted hereunder.
