Seanad Éireann - Volume 25 - 28 May, 1941 Emergency Powers (No. 77 Order), 1941—Motion. Sir John Keane Sir John Keane Sir John Keane: I am not moving this motion: “That the Emergency 1507 1508 Powers (No. 77) Order, 1941 tabled on 8th May, 1941 be and is hereby annulled.” Since I put it on the Order Paper it has been explained to me by the Minister for Finance that it was not the intention to suspend the usual [1507] method of revising values, but merely to provide for a situation where it was physically impossible, as for instance, in the case of the country being [1508] occupied by an enemy, or some physical disability of that kind. Motion not moved. The Seanad adjourned sine die at 8.15 p.m. Seanad Éireann 25 Emergency Powers (No. 77 Order), 1941—Motion. General Debate 19410528
