Mr. Hearne: I move that Wednesday, 11th May, be fixed for the election of Leas-Chathaoirleach.

Pádraic O Máille: Do réir Buan-Ordu 57, “there shall be appointed, at the commencement of every Seanad a committee to be known as the Committee of Selection which.... shall nominate the Senators to serve on Select or Special Committees.” Do réir Buan-Ordú 58 “there shall be appointed .... the Committee on Procedure and Privileges ..... This Committee .... may recommend any additions or amendments to these Standing Orders that may be deemed necessary.” Is gá an dá choiste seo do cheapadh.
