PILOTAGE ORDER CONFIRMATION BILL, 1925 (PROVISIONAL ORDER CONFIRMATION BILL).

Mr. DOUGLAS: I beg to move that this Bill be read a first time. It is provided in the Private Bill Standing Orders that the Leas-Chathaoirleach should move the First Stage of a Bill such as this. It is not my function to explain the Bill or to deal with it in any capacity, but at the same time I ought, perhaps, to mention that the object of the Bill is to confirm the Dublin Pilotage Order defining the limits of the Dublin Pilotage District, constituting the pilotage authority and making provision for a Pilotage Committee.

Question—“That the Bill be read the first time”—put and agreed to.
