Seanad Éireann - Volume 1 - 12 December, 1922 HOUR OF MEETING. AN CATHAOIRLEACH AN CATHAOIRLEACH 35 [35] AN CATHAOIRLEACH: What is the view of the Senators—have they discussed it at all—as to when we should meet next and the hour that is most convenient for the majority? Dr. GEORGE SIGERSON Dr. GEORGE SIGERSON Dr. GEORGE SIGERSON: I suggest that it be 12 o'clock noon, as on the first occasion. AN CATHAOIRLEACH AN CATHAOIRLEACH AN CATHAOIRLEACH: I am anxious to consult the wishes of the Senators as far as possible. There is hardly an hour that we could fix that will not be inconvenient for somebody. If 12 o'clock is more acceptable to the bulk of the Senators let us fix it at 12 o'clock. There are one or two matters which will have to come under our consideration. They will not take very long. One is the appointment of the Committee suggested by Senator Moore. The second is to define the duties of the Chairman. That has to be done. That is provided for actually in the Constitution itself. Colonel MAURICE MOORE Colonel MAURICE MOORE Colonel MAURICE MOORE: Would it not be well if someone proposed now to bring that forward at the next meeting? AN CATHAOIRLEACH AN CATHAOIRLEACH AN CATHAOIRLEACH: I do not intend to hold the Seanad very tight by orders at present, because we are only feeling our way. I do not think there will be any difficulty on the part of the Seanad in accepting a motion to-morrow on that matter if anyone would wish to make it. I think now someone ought formally move the adjournment of the Seanad. Seanad Éireann 1 HOUR OF MEETING. General Debate 19221212
