AMENDMENTS TO STANDING ORDERS. - AMENDMENT TO STANDING ORDER 8 (f).

COUNTESS MARKIEVICZ (St. Patrick's) COUNTESS MARKIEVICZ (St. Patrick's) EAMONN DE VALERA (East Clare) EAMONN DE VALERA (East Clare)

EAMONN DE VALERA (East Clare) moved, and COUNTESS MARKIEVICZ (St. Patrick's) seconded, “that Standing Order 8 (f) be amended by substituting therefor the following:—

‘8 (f) Deputies shall be referred to by the names of their constituencies.

‘(g) No Deputy shall make a personal charge against another nor use offensive remarks about another.’ The existing clauses g, h, i, j, k, to be re-lettered h, i, j, k, l, respectively.”

Motion put and carried.
