Dublin) EAMONN DE VALERA (East Clare) EAMONN DE VALERA (East Clare) EAMONN DE VALERA (East Clare) moved, and GABHAN O DUBHTHAIGH (South Co. Dublin) seconded, to amend Standing Order 12a by substituting therefor the following:— “A quorum for conducting business at a meeting of Dáil shall consist of one half of the Deputies who have signed the Roll and who are in Ireland and not prevented from attendance by enemy action, or of twenty Deputies, whichever shall be the greater number.” L. MAC FHIONNGHAIL (Westmeath) moved: “That a quorum for legislative and general business be as laid down in the resolution, but in the event of this number not being free Ten to be the quorum for administrative purposes.” This was not seconded.
