[450] Deputy Bernard Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if she will make a statement on the situation at Mallow Hospital, Cork, where a CAT scanner is again lying idle with a radiographer unable to operate it as a result of staffing problems and patients are being sent to a private hospital in Cork for scans at a minimum daily cost of €3,000; and if she will investigate this case.
