Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if the Land Commission will provide copies of documents to the solicitor of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [18499/09]

Deputy Brendan Smith:My Department is not aware of any outstanding requests for copy documents in this case. Certified copies of former Land Commission documentation may be obtained from the Keeper of Records in my Department, Records Branch, National Archives Building, Bishop Street, Dublin 8, Telephone 01 4750766.

Owners and purchasers of land and their legal or personal representatives may access relevant documents. Fees are charged for searches and copy documents in accordance with the Land Purchase Acts.
