[236] Deputy Terence Flanagan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will issue a passport to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9 who has been waiting since December 2008; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16279/09]

  Deputy Micheál Martin: The Passport Office has no record of an application from the person in question. An officer from my Department has been in touch with her to offer assistance with the urgent processing of a new application should this be required.
