[157] Deputy Noel Dempsey: The investigation of public transport accidents other than those occurring in air, rail and maritime modes of transport is the responsibility of An Garda Síochána. I have no proposals to change this arrangement in the context of the amalgamation of accident investigation functions as announced in Budget 2009.
