  Deputy Brendan Smith: My Department has agreed with the Department of Finance to complete a total of eleven reviews under the 2006-08 round of reviews. The title of the reviews are as follows:

Laboratory Facilities (Plant Health, Crops, Research & Development Grants)

Public (Exchequer and EU) Supports for Aquaculture, 2000-2005

Dairy Hygiene

FIRM (Food Research & Development Grants)

Bovine TB Scheme

Meat Hygiene — Temporary Veterinary Inspectors

Bovine Animal Identification and Traceability System

Fallen Animals Scheme

Forestry Roads Scheme

Marketing and Processing Scheme

BIM ( non decommissioning/non Aquaculture)Marine Support Programme

Completed reviews are published on my Department’s website and are also forwarded to the Joint Committee for Agriculture and Food and both Houses of the Oireachtas. Four reviews have now been published under the 2006-08 round. My Department has put in place monitoring mechanisms whereby recommendations contained in all completed reviews are centrally monitored and analysed with regard to their implementation or use for future policy design. The [257] selection of programmes to be reviewed under the next round of reviews will be made following consultations between my Department and the Department of Finance.
