Written Answers. - School Accommodation.

Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the proposals to secure alternative accommodation for a school (details supplied) in Dublin 11 in view of their unsuitable accommodation. [23669/08]

Deputy Batt O’Keeffe: An application for a new school building has been submitted by the school to which the Deputy refers. Progress on all large-scale projects, including this project, will be considered on an ongoing basis in the context of [1033] my Department’s multi-annual School Building and Modernisation Programme. However, in light of current competing demands on the capital budget of the Department, it is not possible to give an indicative timeframe for the progression of these projects at this time.
