Mitchell asked the Minister for Transport if he will request the Road Safety Authority to take steps to ensure there is an adequate network of garages around the country capable of dealing with motorists’ problems which may impair their safety that is windscreen washer replacement, tyre pressure, light replacement and adjustment and so on; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
