Mitchell asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of persons who drive HGVs who have been detected, charged and convicted, respectively, for breaching tachograph regulations, speeding and driving in the passing lane in each of the past three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Mr. McDowell: In view of the nature of the questions and in order to supply the details requested by the Deputy I am informed by the Garda authorities that it is necessary to make enquiries at each Garda Division. I will be in contact with the Deputy when the information is to hand.
