Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if she will grant the new level of grant aid under the farm installation aid programme to those applicants who had submitted applications in the previous 12 months but who have not received payment; and if she will make a statement on the matter.   Mary Coughlan: Applications for aid under the current Installation Aid Scheme, which applies to farmers set-up for the first time in farming on or before 31 December 2006 will be considered in accordance with the terms and conditions of that Scheme.

The Installation Aid Scheme to be applied in Ireland as part of the 2007-2013 Rural Development Programme will be introduced as soon as EU approval is received for that Programme.
