Mr. Carey asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will review the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 who wishes to remain in the State after the most recent expiry date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2264/07]

  Mr. McDowell: As outlined in my reply to Parliamentary Question 38561/06 put down by the Deputy on the 21st November 2006, the application in respect of the person concerned [450] has been approved. As indicated in the approval letter, it is open to him to attend at his local Immigration Office prior to the expiry of this permission to remain to seek a further renewal.
