Mr. Parlon: The Commissioners of Public Works have no plans to carry out refurbishment works to Ballintubber Garda station.

Currently, the Commissioners are preparing to advertise early in the new year, for a suitable site for a new Garda station in Ballintubber, in accordance with the priority accorded it by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform.

Following the acquisition of a new site, the Commissioners will dispose of the property on the open market, should it be surplus to State requirements.
