Ms C. Murphy asked the Minister for Finance the stage of development the Leixlip Garda station; the length of time he anticipates it will be before construction will commence and is completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27450/06]

Mr. Parlon: A formal decision by the Commissioners of Public Works in respect of Planning Consultation under Part 9 on the proposed new Garda Station for Leixlip is expected in a number of weeks.

Commencement of the tendering process is dependent on the outcome of the Commissioners decision.
