Ms O’Sullivan asked the Minister for Education and Science if a person (details supplied) in County Dublin is eligible for a home tuition grant or other assistance from her Department to pay for the cost of home tuition as they missed [1892] over 20 days of school this year, due to illness. [23336/06]

Ms Hanafin:My officials will forward an application form for home tuition to the family referred to by the Deputy. When this is returned to my Department it will be considered and a decision will be conveyed to the family subsequently.
