Mr. O’Connor asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if the term of office of the first Health Insurance Authority has expired; if not, when she expects it to expire; when she proposes to announce the composition of a new authority; and if she will make a statement on the matter.   Ms Harney: The term of office of the first Health Insurance Authority expired on 31 January 2006. I appointed the following as members of the new authority from 1 February 2006: Mr. Jimmy Joyce, chairman; Ms Mary Doyle; Ms Anne Maher and Mr. Aidan O’Donnell. Arrangements are in train for the appointment of a fifth member.
