Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the action he has taken to ensure that the western road corridor will be completed within the timeframe of Transport 21, in view of the route’s importance to rural development; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Éamon Ó Cuív: I presume the Deputy is referring to the Atlantic corridor from Letterkenny to Waterford. I will continue to work with my colleague, the Minister of Transport, to ensure its completion within the timeframe of Transport 21. I am satisfied that the commitment in Transport 21 to this road will be fulfilled as outlined.
