452. Mr. Morgan asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government when a civic amenity centre will be opened in Drogheda; and the correspondence he has had with Louth local authorities in regard to this matter. [39932/05]

Mr. Roche: A civic amenity site is currently under construction in Drogheda, and has been allocated grant assistance totalling over €2 million from my Department. Construction is at an advanced stage and I understand that the site should open in the first quarter of 2006.
