[1255] 50. Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education and Science the increase in funding to the National Educational Psychological Service which will be allocated for 2006; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [39544/05]

Ms Hanafin: The National Educational Psychological Service, NEPS, has been allocated funding of €15.325 million in the 2006 financial provision for my Department in the recently published Abridged Estimates Volume. This represents an increase of approximately €1 million, 8%, over the projected outturn for this service in 2005.
