425. Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for Transport his plans to provide funding for the Sutton to Sandycove cycleway proposal for the perimeter of Dublin Bay. [30609/05]

Mr. Callely:The DTO traffic management grant committee approved an allocation of €50,000 towards a jointly funded preliminary design study and environmental report on the Sutton to Sandycove cycleway proposal. Final comments on the draft final report are being assembled by the DTO and will be forwarded to the consultants within the next month. I look forward to being advised by the DTO on recommendations as to future progress on the scheme.
