71. Ms Lynch asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will report on any progress made following a recent complaint made to the Israeli authorities of ongoing and serious harassment of [1304] Palestinians in the Hebron area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18487/05]

Mr. D. Ahern: I am aware of the situation to which the Deputy refers, and share her concerns about the plight of the people affected. My Department has actively raised these concerns with the Israeli authorities, and will continue to do so as the situation warrants it.
