  529. Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the sections of his Department currently based outside Dublin which will be moved to other non-Dublin locations under the decentralisation programme; the location from and to which officials are being transferred; the numbers and sections involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter.   Mr. Brennan:: Under the Government decentralisation programme announced as part of budget 2004, my Department and its agencies are [375] required to relocate to seven provincial locations, i.e., Drogheda, Buncrana, Donegal, Carrick-on-Shannon, Sligo, Monaghan and Carrickmacross.

At present, my Department has decentralised offices in Sligo, Letterkenny, Longford, Waterford and Dundalk. There are no plans to move any of the sections in these locations.
