313. Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when he proposes to make a decision on an application for family reunification for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5856/05]

Mr. McDowell:In the course of processing the application for family reunification in respect of the person concerned questions arose in relation to the validity of the marriage. This issue is currently being investigated. When the investigation has been completed a decision on the application will be taken at that stage.
