629. Mr. N. O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of installation aid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who was approved on 28 August 2003. [34294/04]

Mary Coughlan: This person is an applicant under the installation aid scheme and submitted an application for payment to my Department on 17 September 2003. However, following an examin[436] ation of this application, the person concerned appears not to have fulfilled the educational requirements of the scheme. As no reply has yet been received to a request for further information sent to the applicant concerned in relation to his educational qualifications, the application for payment cannot be progressed at this stage.
