O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the details of the serving members of the Garda Síochána who were invited to attend the press conference at which the intention to establish a traffic corps was announced; the rank and title of office or other appointment of the gardaí who were invited; and if he will make a statement on the matter.   Mr. McDowell:I am informed by the Garda authorities that the press launch for the establishment of the traffic corps was attended by the commissioner of the Garda Síochána, the deputy commissioner, operations, the chief superintend[537] ent and superintendent, Garda national traffic bureau, and the Garda public relations officer.
