[747]   Mr. Kitt:I move:

That the proposal that Dáil Éireann resolves that sections 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 (No. 29 of 1996), shall continue in operation for the period ending on 31 December, 2006, be referred to the Joint Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women’s Rights, in accordance with paragraph (2) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which, not later than 1 December, 2004, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 85, and Standing Order 84(2) shall accordingly apply.
