  92. Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Finance if he has received an application for charitable status from a company (details supplied) in Dublin 11; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29601/04]

  Mr. Cowen: I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an application for charitable tax exemption was received from the company in question on 9 August 2004. In order to process the application, further clarification and supporting documents were needed. Accordingly, the charities section of the Revenue Commissioners wrote to the agents acting on behalf of the company on 12 August 2004 seeking the additional information. No reply has been received to date.
