Mr. Eamon Ryan asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the statistics for the length of the average working week for persons in full-time employment in the economy here; the similar statistics for the same category of workers ten and 20 years ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28469/04] Mr. Killeen Mr. Killeen 752 Mr. Killeen: Figures supplied by the Central Statistics Office show that the annual average number of hours worked per week by workers in the [752] manufacturing sector, part-time and full-time, in 2003 was 39.8. The corresponding figures for 1993 and 1983, respectively, were 40.3 and 40.6.
