  Mr. McDowell: I have been informed by the Garda authorities who are responsible for the detailed allocation of resources, including personnel, that the possibility of nightclub owners and retailers contributing to the cost of putting extra gardaí outside their premises to combat late night street crime is being considered by a working group set up under the chairmanship of an assistant commissioner.
