239. Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the reason persons (details supplied) in County Kerry were not awarded compensation under a revitalisation scheme. [15675/04]

Mr. D. Ahern: Responsibility for the administration of the revitalisation programme for the Castlemaine harbour bottom mussel fishery was vested in Bord Iascaigh Mhara. All decisions were taken by BIM and accordingly it would not be appropriate for me to comment on individual cases.
