99. Mr. Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Defence if he will renew the lease between his Department and the Athgarvan Football Club, The Curragh, County Kildare. [15311/04]

Mr. M. Smith: The lease agreement between the Department and Athgarvan GAA Club covered a term of 21 years with effect from 1 October 1982. The club has sought to extend the tenure of the lease to a term of 99 years and that request is under [432] consideration. My Department expects to be in a position to respond to the club at an early date.
