Written Answers - Nursing Home Subventions.

  416. Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if subvention and enhanced subvention will continue to be awarded to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if a decision in the case will be expedited in view of the worry it is causing the family. [5042/04]

  Mr. Callely: As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
