967. Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the position of an application for funding by Athy [754] Town Council in regard to refurbishment works for Townspark, Carbury Park estates; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1615/04]

Mr. N. Ahern:My Department wrote to Athy town council in December 2003 requesting the Town Council to respond to a number of issues raised by the Department and to submit a detailed statement of the scope of the work along with a cost estimate. The town council's response is awaited.
