  942. Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the position regarding a sewerage scheme in County Mayo; and when work on the scheme will commence. [1355/04]

  Mr. Cullen:Achill Sound sewerage scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2003 — 2005 to commence construction this year. Further consideration will be given to the contract documents submitted by Mayo County Council on receipt of the additional information requested by my Department from the council in June 2003.
