Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will expedite an operation for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to have cataracts removed at [613] Ardkeen Hospital, Waterford; and if he will explain the reason that there is an eight month waiting list. [1559/04]

  Mr. Martin:The provision of services for people living in County Kilkenny is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
