  232. Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) will be granted an increase in home help hours; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31493/03]

  Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. Callely):As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services in the Sligo area is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the North-Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.

  233. Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children when orthodontic treatment will be made available to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [31494/03]

  Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. Callely):Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Limerick rests with the Mid-Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
