Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Defence the location at which the EU Defence Council informal meeting scheduled for 6-7 April 2004 will take place with respect to the Irish Presidency of the European Union; if associated formal or informal side meetings are scheduled to take place in relation to this meeting; the persons who are likely to attend these meetings; and the details of private sponsorship of aspects of these meetings that have been agreed to date.   Minister for Defence (Mr. M. Smith):The informal meeting of Defence Ministers scheduled for 5 and 6 April 2004 will take place in Brussels. No associated meetings have been scheduled. Ministers are normally accompanied by senior officials from their Departments and their countries' ambassadors to the EU Political and Security Committee. No sponsorship has been agreed in relation to the meeting.
